Jimmy is the Associate Dean for Research and Clinical Simulation and an Associate Professor at the Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine at The Chicago School, with over twenty years of experience linking clinical practice and medical education. His research centers on medical simulation, gamification, and mastery learning, supported by more than $620,000 in grant funding and numerous publications on patient safety and simulation-based training. A national leader in healthcare education, he serves with the American College of Surgeons and the North American Simulation and Gaming Association while pursuing advanced leadership fellowships to further innovation in medical education for rural and underserved communities.
