This charter describes how the Healthcare Construction and Activation Community (HCAC) operates—who it’s for, how we run events, and how we keep discussions valuable and peer-driven.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee oversees community programming and operations. Membership is by invitation.

• Serve as Chair for one or more Community Chapters.
• Select and prioritize topics.
• Recruit and support speakers.
• Organize and host events.
• Grow the community and strengthen member-to-member connections.

Membership

HCAC includes three member types:

• Owners: Professionals employed at healthcare providers
• Partners: Consultants, suppliers, vendors, and other service providers
• Sponsors: Partners who have sponsored the community

Owners

• Attend common and owner-specific events and chapter meetings.
• Participate in discussions and share lessons learned.
• Provide input, recommendations, and feedback on topics and formats.
• Present at events as a speaker.

Partners

• Participate in common community events.
